Process

There are several casting processes utilized in industries today. One popular form is the lost wax casting process, which involves creating a replica of the desired object using wax, which is then covered with a ceramic shell. The wax is then melted away, leaving behind a cavity for molten metal to be poured in.
Another commonly used method is the die casting process, which involves using a steel mold to form the desired shape. Molten metal is then injected into the mold under high pressure, resulting in a highly detailed and accurate final product.
The sand casting process involves packing sand around a pattern to create a mold for the molten metal. The sand is then removed, leaving behind the metal shape.
Soluble glass casting process, also known as water glass casting, is a process of creating a mold by using a mixture of water glass and quartz sand. The mixture is poured over a pattern and allowed to harden before the pattern is removed and the mold is heated to remove any remaining water.
Finally, there is the silicasol casting process, which is similar to the lost wax method. However, instead of creating a mold with a ceramic shell, a mixture of silica, water, and a bonding agent is used to create the mold. This process allows for very intricate and detailed designs to be created.
