Sewage pumps are centrifugal impurity pumps that come in different forms, including submersible and dry pumps. The most commonly used submersible sewage pump is the QW submersible sewage pump, while the popular dry sewage pump is the W-type horizontal sewage pump. Additionally, there are WL vertical sewage pumps available. These pumps are primarily designed for transporting urban sewage, feces, or liquids that contain fiber. The conveyed medium usually has a temperature below 80°C and may contain solid particles like paper scraps. Due to the presence of entangling or bunching fibers, the flow channel of these pumps can easily get blocked. Blockages not only disrupt the normal functioning of the pump but can also lead to motor burnouts, resulting in inadequate sewage discharge. Such issues have a significant impact on urban life and environmental protection. Therefore, the quality of sewage pumps depends on their resistance to blockages and overall reliability.
