Mechanical processing can be broadly classified into two types: manual processing and CNC processing. Manual processing involves the hands-on operation of milling machines, lathes, drilling machines, and sawing machines by skilled workers to process various materials. This method is typically used for small-scale production and simple parts manufacturing. On the other hand, CNC machining utilizes numerical control equipment operated by workers to carry out the machining process. This includes machining centers, turning and milling centers, wire EDM equipment, and thread cutting machines. In most machining workshops, CNC machining technology is adopted. By programming the workpiece's position coordinates (X, Y, Z) in the Cartesian coordinate system, the CNC controller interprets the program language and controls the axis of the CNC machine tool. Material removal is automatically performed according to the programmed instructions, resulting in a finished workpiece. CNC machining is ideal for continuous processing of large batches and complex shapes.
