In order to streamline the programming process for CNC machine tools, the machining workshop makes use of CAD/CAM system which stands for Computer Aided Design Computer Aided Manufacturing. This system facilitates automated programming by converting the geometry of the part from the CAD system to the CAM system. Through a virtual display screen, the mechanical worker can select different processing methods. The chosen processing method prompts the CAD/CAM system to generate CNC codes, commonly known as G codes. These codes are then inputted into the CNC machine tool's controller to carry out the actual processing operations.
